Hainault
Hainault wines are made from premium quality ESTATE GROWN fruit from 25 year old vines. All vines are hand pruned and all fruit is hadn picked.
Michael and Lyn Sykes purchased the vineyard in March 2002. Both continue to work in their usual employment while working on the vineyard every spare moment they have. They rely heavily on voluntary labour - family members and friends frequently come to the vineyard to work for lunch or a cuppa.
The objective of the owners is to produce premium quality varietal wines while further developing a style synonymous with Perth Hills wines. A major goal is to reduce their reliance on chemicals and increase the use of organic solutions for the management of pests, weeds and diseases.
